About Me
A student at London Fine Art Studios and Putney School of Art for many years, I have a background in figurative oil painting and life drawing.
​
My landscapes are painted from direct observation, beginning often with compositional sketches and sometimes photographs. Painting en plein air is challenging but it is the constantly changing light and skies that inspire me along with the colour harmonies of nature. I enjoy finding the beauty in everyday surroundings and try to capture this on canvas.
To date I have exhibited in group shows at Leighton House, Kensington, Hurlingham Club, Fulham and at the Prince & Pilgrim Gallery, Kew.
